NFAT3 Transcription Factor Activity Assay

NFAT3 (also known as NFATc4) is a member of the Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells family, mediating calcium-calcineurin signaling that drives cytokine gene expression, immune cell activation, and cardiac hypertrophy research. The Assay Genie assay uses oligonucleotide-coated wells carrying the NFAT consensus sequence to capture activated NFAT3 from nuclear and cell lysates, with detection via a specific primary antibody. Researchers apply this kit to study T-cell signaling cascades, calcium-dependent gene regulation, and transcriptional responses in cultured cell lines. Validated for human, mouse, and rat cross-reactivity, the procedure generates a quantitative colorimetric readout of NFAT3 DNA-binding capacity.
