NFAT3 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A colorimetric cell-based ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed to detect NFAT3 (Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells 3) in cultured cells. The assay shows reactivity against human and mouse samples, uses colorimetric detection at 450 nm, and has a stated dynamic range of > 5000 cells.

The kit employs an indirect ELISA format in which NFAT3 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and detected through HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies that catalyse a colour reaction on substrate addition. It is described as a lysate-free, high-throughput workflow applicable to adherent cells and to screening the effects of treatments, inhibitors such as siRNA or chemicals, and activators on NFAT3 levels. Two normalisation tools are supplied: a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody acting as an internal positive control, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining to relate absorbance readings to cell density.

Storage is at 4 °C for 6 months. NFAT3 corresponds to the NFATC4 gene (Gene ID 4776; UniProt Q14934), a transcription factor implicated in the inducible expression of cytokine genes in T cells, particularly IL-2 and IL-4, and in regulating gene expression in embryonic cardiac cells.
