NF-kappaB p65 (Phospho-Ser468)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

A cell-based colorimetric ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the qualitative detection of NF-kappaB p65 phosphorylated at Serine 468 in cultured cells. The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which phospho-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Because the readout is qualitative, a monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalizing target absorbance, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell stain can be used after the readout to determine cell density and correct for plating differences.

The lysate-free, high-throughput workflow allows measurement of phosphorylated NF-kappaB p65 in intact cells and supports screening of treatments, inhibitors, or activators that affect NF-kappaB p65 phosphorylation. The kit is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, has a dynamic range of more than 5000 cells, and is read at 450 nm. Sample type is adherent cells.
