NF-kappaB p65 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Cell-Based ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the detection and quantification of NF-kappaB p65 levels in cell lysates. It is described as a sensitive, high-throughput, lysate-free assay that uses an indirect ELISA format, in which NF-kappaB p65 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

Targeted at adherent cells with reactivity to Human and Mouse samples, the kit uses a colorimetric detection method at 450 nm and offers a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. Two normalisation approaches are built in: an anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody serves as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density and adjust for plating differences.

NF-kappaB p65 is a key transcription factor involved in immune responses, inflammation and cell survival, with dysregulation implicated in cancer and in inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. The kit can be applied to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals) or activators on NF-kappaB p65 in cultured cells, and is stored at 4 °C with a stated stability of 6 Months.
