NF-kappaB p105/p50 (Phospho-Ser907)Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie cell-based ELISA kit is designed for the qualitative detection of phosphorylated NF-kappaB p105/p50 at Ser907 in cultured cells. Using a colorimetric readout at 450 nm, the indirect ELISA format captures the target with phospho-specific primary antibodies while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colour reaction upon substrate addition.

The assay is lysate-free and high-throughput, enabling measurement of relative NF-kB p105/p50 phosphorylation in cells and screening of treatments, siRNA, chemicals or activators that affect the pathway. Reactivity is reported for human samples with a dynamic range of > 5000 cells, and the protocol is applied to adherent cells. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell stain can be used after the colour reaction to normalise absorbance values to cell density.

Targeted at the NFKB1 gene product (UniProt P19838), the kit supports studies of NF-kB signalling in inflammation, immune response and cell survival.
