NCBP1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

Assay Genie's NCBP1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit is an in-cell ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of NCBP1 protein levels in cultured cells. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm in an indirect ELISA format, in which NCBP1-specific primary antibodies capture the target while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

Reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, with a stated dynamic range of > 5000 Cells and a lysate-free workflow, the kit can be used to measure the relative amounts of NCBP1 in cultured cells and to screen for the effects of various treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on NCBP1 expression. A monoclonal antibody specific for human GAPDH is included as an internal positive control to normalize target absorbance values, and the Crystal Violet whole-cell staining method can be used to determine cell density after the colorimetric measurement of HRP activity.

Supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format with a storage stability of 4°C for 6 Months, the kit is intended for research in epigenetics and nuclear signaling, supporting studies of NCBP1 (nuclear cap-binding protein subunit 1) and its role in mRNA processing, transport, and gene expression regulation.
