Murine CD138 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Murine CD138 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format, colorimetric assay developed for the quantitative detection of CD138, also known by its alias Syndecan-1, in mouse-derived samples. Part of a range designed with pharmaceutical and biotech research in mind, the kit combines a highly optimised monoclonal antibody pair with a purified recombinant protein standard, and is calibrated to NIBSC under ISO 9001:2000 quality systems.

The assay covers a working range of 0.5 ng/ml - 16 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.35 ng/ml. It recognises both recombinant and natural murine soluble Syndecan-1 and shows no cross reactivity with other molecules. Acceptable sample types include cell culture supernatant, serum, plasma and buffered solution, requiring 100 µl per well (50 µl for serum/plasma). Reagents supplied comprise pre-coated strip plates, biotinylated secondary antibody, standards, controls where applicable, buffers, streptavidin-HRP, TMB, stop reagents and a detailed procedure.

With an incubation of 2h45 on pre-coated plates, the protocol is structured to allow for rapid target validation, supporting immunology research and analyte measurement in both routine and complex biological matrices.
