MtSSB Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

This Cell-Based In-Cell ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the qualitative detection of MtSSB (SSBP1), a single-stranded DNA-binding mitochondrial protein implicated in mitochondrial DNA replication, in cultured cells. The lysate-free, high-throughput assay is performed on adherent cells using an indirect ELISA format in which MtSSB-specific primary antibodies are captured and visualised by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, yielding a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm.

Reactivity is established for human, mouse, and rat samples. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is supplied as an internal positive control to normalise target absorbance, and Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is included to account for cell density. The dynamic range is reported as greater than 5,000 cells, and the kit is provided in a 96-well microplate format intended for storage at 4 °C for six months.
