Mst1/2 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this cell-based colorimetric ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of Mst1/2, the mammalian sterile 20-like kinases 1 and 2 that regulate cell growth, apoptosis, and immune responses, with dysregulation linked to cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. The kit is intended for use with adherent cells and detects Mst1/2 protein expression profiles in cultured cells using a lysate-free workflow.

The assay uses an indirect ELISA format, in which Mst1/2-specific primary antibodies capture the target and HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies catalyse a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. A monoclonal anti-GAPDH antibody is included as an internal positive control for normalising target absorbance values, and a Crystal Violet whole-cell staining step can be used to determine cell density. The kit can be used to measure relative Mst1/2 amounts in cultured cells and to screen the effects of treatments, inhibitors (such as siRNA or chemicals), or activators on Mst1/2.

The kit is reactive with human and mouse samples and has a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. Detection is performed colorimetrically at 450 nm, and the assay is supplied in a 96-Well Microplate format. Storage stability is 4°C for 6 Months.
