The Assay Genie Mouse WASF2 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein Family Member 2, also known as WAVE2, in mouse-derived samples using a microplate format. WASF2 is a key regulator of actin polymerization via the Arp2/3 complex, governing lamellipodia formation, membrane ruffling, and cell migration pathways relevant to immune cell signaling, neuronal development, and metastatic cancer research.

This immunoassay is configured specifically for mouse reactivity, with antibody pairs raised against murine WASF2 epitopes to minimize cross-reactivity with unrelated Wiskott-Aldrich family homologs. Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, standard diluent, detection reagents, chromogenic substrate, and stop solution sufficient for 96 determinations. Reconstituted components should be kept refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use and frozen at -20 °C for extended stability; the standard curve should be freshly diluted prior to each run.

The procedure accommodates 100 ul of tissue homogenate or cell lysate per well, with a total run time of approximately 3.5 hours including incubation steps. Investigators studying cytoskeletal remodeling, leukocyte chemotaxis, or WAVE2-dependent signaling cascades will find this kit useful for longitudinal expression profiling in mouse model systems. For research use only.
