Mouse Vitronectin (Vtn) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of mouse Vitronectin (Vtn) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Vitronectin is a key glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion, migration and tissue remodeling, with roles in wound healing, inflammation and cancer metastasis. Also known as S-protein, Serum-spreading factor and VN, the assay is reactive with mouse samples and detects both natural and recombinant mouse Vitronectin.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.072 ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum recovery averaging 99% (range 93-105%) and plasma recovery averaging 101% (range 95-107%).

Vitronectin (UniProt P29788) is a cell adhesion and spreading factor found in serum and tissues that interacts with glycosaminoglycans, proteoglycans, SERPINE1/PAI1, insulin and C1QBP, and serves as a cell-to-substrate adhesion molecule recognized by certain integrins.
