Designed to quantify Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 3 (VEGFR3, alternatively called FLT4) in murine specimens, this Mouse VEGFR3 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie supports research into lymphatic vessel biology, tumor-associated lymphangiogenesis, and metastatic dissemination. VEGFR3 is a transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor essential for the formation and maintenance of lymphatic endothelial cells, and altered receptor signaling has been implicated in hereditary lymphedema, inflammatory conditions, and cancer progression in preclinical mouse models.

The kit is supplied in a 96-assay microplate configuration and is intended for research use only, with sample types encompassing cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum harvested from mouse tissues or experimental animals. Researchers can apply it to monitor VEGFR3 levels in conditioned media, evaluate pharmacologic interventions targeting lymphangiogenic pathways, or characterize genetically modified animals with disrupted VEGF-C/VEGF-D signaling cascades.

Each kit includes a pre-coated plate, detection reagents, substrate solution, and a recombinant mouse VEGFR3 standard curve for sample interpolation. The platform uses an HRP-mediated enzymatic detection step with absorbance measurement. Components should be stored refrigerated upon arrival to preserve reagent activity, and the kit supports single-use experimental workflows where each well plate is treated as a discrete analytical unit.

Applications span oncology research (tracking tumor lymphatic invasion and nodal metastasis), cardiovascular studies (modeling lymphatic malformations and edema), and developmental biology (profiling VEGFR3 expression during embryogenesis). The platform complements immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry workflows by providing quantitative receptor concentration data from liquid specimens.
