Mouse VEGFR1/Flt-1 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative measurement of VEGFR1 (also known as FLT-1) in mouse samples. The double-antibody assay is reactive with mouse and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 37.5 pg/mL with a working range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL, and the kit is intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions: serum (n=5) 82-100%, 87-98% and 86-98%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 86-103%, 86-105% and 91-104%; heparin plasma (n=5) 84-92%, 82-100% and 82-91%. Mean recovery values are 95% for serum (range 85-103%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 88-100%) and 92% for heparin plasma (range 90-95%).

VEGFR1 is described as a key receptor involved in angiogenesis, with dysregulation linked to cancer, cardiovascular and neurological disorders, placing the kit within cardiovascular research. The procedure uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin conjugate, with TMB substrate development and absorbance read at 450 nm. The target corresponds to Uniprot entry P35969.
