Mouse VEGFC ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables accurate measurement of Mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor C (VEGFC) levels in mouse serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. VEGFC is a key protein involved in the regulation of lymphangiogenesis and angiogenesis, playing critical roles in wound healing, cancer progression, and lymphedema development, making this kit a valuable research tool for studying lymphatic vessel development, tumor angiogenesis, and related pathways. The double-antibody sandwich format is read using a colorimetric method.

The assay offers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL across a range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL, and the kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Linearity testing across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 returned ranges of 94-103%, 85-100%, and 81-98% respectively for serum (n=5), 86-104%, 86-101%, and 82-93% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 85-104%, 84-92%, and 80-96% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery testing produced averages of 97% for serum, 97% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, followed by a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin incubation, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
