Mouse VEGF-D/FIGF ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for quantitative detection of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D (VEGF-D), also known as c-Fos-induced growth factor (Figf), in mouse samples. VEGF-D/Figf is a key regulator of angiogenesis that promotes blood-vessel growth and is implicated in cancer, cardiovascular disorders and inflammatory conditions, making it a useful biomarker for studying vascular biology in mouse models.

Validated for mouse reactivity, the kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The reported sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL with an assay range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Spiking recovery averages 100% (range 98-103%) for serum, 95% (range 91-101%) for EDTA plasma, and 93% (range 89-103%) for heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 85-88%, 92-98% and 85-104% for serum; 89-100%, 89-99% and 82-101% for EDTA plasma; and 83-97%, 81-99% and 80-97% for heparin plasma. Storage is 2-8°C for 12 months.

The assay follows a double-antibody sandwich workflow: equilibrate reagents to room temperature, incubate standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, add biotin-labelled detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes, add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, develop with TMB substrate in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and read absorbance at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
