Mouse VE-Cadherin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody detection format to enable quantitative measurement of VE-Cadherin in mouse samples. VE-Cadherin, also known as vascular endothelial cadherin, Cadherin-5, CD144, or CDH5, is a key component of endothelial cell-cell junctions and plays a critical role in maintaining vascular integrity and regulating endothelial cell function. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL with a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Standard storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months. Across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma matrices at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8, reported linearity spans 82–105%. Recovery in the same matrices ranges from 85–105%, with average values between 92% and 94%.

The protocol covers reagent and TMB substrate equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
