Mouse Vaspin PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0087)

This Assay Genie competitive immunoassay quantifies mouse vaspin (visceral adipose tissue-derived serpin, also known as serpinA12), an adipocytokine of interest in studies of obesity, insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. The kit provides a complete microplate workflow with pre-coated wells, assay buffer, lyophilized standards and detection reagents for measuring vaspin in mouse serum and cell culture supernatant samples. Each kit contains reagents sufficient for 96 determinations and should be stored at 4 degrees C, with the standard reconstituted and aliquoted for freezing at -20 degrees C to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Vaspin concentrations are read using a standard microplate reader, with results reported against the kit's standard curve in ng/mL.
