Mouse Vasorin (Vasn) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is configured for the quantitative measurement of mouse Vasorin (VASN) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay recognises natural and recombinant mouse Vasorin (synonyms: Protein slit-like 2, Slitl2) and provides a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/ml with a reported sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL.

Precision is stated as 5.0% intra-assay CV and 8.6% inter-assay CV. Linearity across serial dilutions spans 80-113% in serum, 87-110% in EDTA plasma and 92-112% in heparin plasma. Recovery averages 98% (range 92-104%) in serum and 100% (range 94-106%) in plasma.

Vasorin (UniProt Q9CZT5) may act as an inhibitor of TGF-beta signaling via interaction with TGFB1, TGFB2 and TGFB3, and is classified as a single-pass type I membrane protein.
