Mouse Vascular non-inflammatory molecule 3 (Vnn3) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Vascular non-inflammatory molecule 3 (Vnn3), also known as Vanin-3, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and shows reactivity specifically with mouse samples, detecting both natural and recombinant forms of the target protein.

Vnn3 is an amidohydrolase belonging to the CN hydrolase family (BTD/VNN subfamily) that hydrolyzes one of the carboamide linkages in D-pantetheine, thereby recycling pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and releasing cysteamine. The protein is a GPI-anchored membrane component (UniProt: Q9QZ25) with a molecular weight of 56,305 Da, and is reported to be secreted according to PubMed:11491533. The kit demonstrates a detection range of 0.625-40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.298 ng/mL.
