Mouse Vascular cell adhesion protein 1 (Vcam1) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Vascular cell adhesion protein 1 (VCAM1), also referred to by the synonyms CD106, V-CAM 1 and Vcam-1. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. VCAM1 is a cell adhesion molecule implicated in leukocyte–endothelial adhesion and immune response, and its dysregulation has been reported in inflammatory conditions including autoimmune disease, atherosclerosis and asthma.

The reported detection range is 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.396ng/mL. Precision is described as an intra-assay CV of 6.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Linearity has been evaluated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (106-116%, 108-120%, 106-116%, 85-93%), EDTA plasma (88-98%, 104-114%, 89-101%, 102-115%) and heparin plasma (99-108%, 111-120%, 95-104%, 105-115%). Recovery is reported at 82% for serum (range 80-88%) and 84% for plasma (range 80-90%). The kit is for research use only.
