Mouse V-set domain containing T-cell activation inhibitor 1 (Vtcn1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse V-set domain containing T-cell activation inhibitor 1 (VTCN1), also referenced by synonyms including B7 homolog 4, B7-H4, B7x, B7h4, Protein B7S1, and T cell costimulatory molecule B7x. The assay is reactive with mouse and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with specificity for both natural and recombinant mouse VTCN1. Optical density is read at 450 nm using a standard microplate reader.

The assay delivers a detection range of 3.12-200ng/mL and a sensitivity of 1.76ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.6% and inter-assay CV of 6.9%. Linearity was verified in serum (96-121%), EDTA plasma (95-117%) and heparin plasma (90-118%) across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery averages 102% for serum (range 96-108%) and 104% for plasma (range 98-110%). VTCN1 is a GPI-anchored cell-surface protein that negatively regulates T-cell-mediated immune responses and is highlighted as a relevant target within cancer research.
