The reported detection range is 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 39.07pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is 4.4% (CV) and inter-assay precision is 6.8% (CV). Linearity in serum spans 91-112%, EDTA plasma 86-116%, and heparin plasma 92-116% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Mean recovery is 104% (98-110) for serum and 106% (100-112) for plasma.

Urocortin-2 is a 12,310 Da secreted peptide of the corticotropin-releasing hormone family that binds CRF receptors 2-alpha and 2-beta (UniProt Q99ML8).
