Mouse uPA/Urokinase-Type Plasminogen Activator ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Mouse uPA/Urokinase-Type Plasminogen Activator ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody format, designed for the quantitative detection of uPA (Urokinase-Type Plasminogen Activator) in mouse samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples, with detection carried out via a colorimetric readout. The assay has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a standard range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL.

uPA is a key enzyme involved in the regulation of fibrinolysis and cell migration, playing a role in tissue remodelling, wound healing and cancer metastasis, and its dysregulation makes it a valuable biomarker for studying related disease processes. Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with reported ranges of 86–100%, 85–102% and 94–101% for serum; 82–99%, 82–101% and 85–99% for EDTA plasma; and 80–97%, 88–98% and 88–97% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery values average 94% in serum, 98% in EDTA plasma and 98% in heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
