Mouse Uncharacterized protein C13orf33 homolog (Awms3) ELISA Kit

A sandwich-format ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of the uncharacterized mouse protein C13orf33 homolog (Awms3), also referred to as Mesenteric estrogen-dependent adipogenesis protein (Medag). The assay is reactive with mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and is specific for the natural and recombinant form of the target protein.

Detection is reported across a range of 0.078-5ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.036ng/mL. Reported linearity values for serum (N=5) are 88-98% at 1:2, 100-110% at 1:4, 99-109% at 1:8, and 110-120% at 1:16 dilution. EDTA plasma (N=5) shows 116-128% at 1:2, 97-107% at 1:4, 96-106% at 1:8, and 80-89% at 1:16, while heparin plasma (N=5) shows 102-112% at 1:2, 86-96% at 1:4, 86-96% at 1:8, and 94-103% at 1:16. According to the manufacturer's information, Awms3/Medag is a cytoplasmic protein involved in processes that promote adipocyte differentiation, lipid accumulation, and glucose uptake in mature adipocytes.
