Mouse UCN/Urocortin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody format and colorimetric detection for the precise measurement of urocortin levels in mouse specimens. The assay is designed for reactivity with mouse samples and delivers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL across a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL.

The kit accepts a broad range of liquid sample types, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Kit components are intended to be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

Performance has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Linearity testing at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions produced ranges of 86–98%, 85–101%, and 95–101% respectively for serum; 83–98%, 83–99%, and 83–98% for EDTA plasma; and 81–99%, 80–100%, and 82–100% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery experiments yielded recovery ranges of 88–103% (average 95%) for serum, 88–105% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 86–96% (average 93%) for heparin plasma.
