Assay Genie's Mouse Ubiquitin-like protein 5 (UBL5, also known as HUB1) competitive ELISA is supplied on a standard microplate and generates an absorbance-based signal compatible with most benchtop plate readers. The kit detects UBL5, a ubiquitin-like modifier that participates in pre-mRNA splicing through non-covalent association with the spliceosomal Sm ring and has been linked to mitochondrial ribosome assembly and cellular stress responses.

Quantitative measurement is supported in mouse cell culture supernatants and serum, enabling studies of post-translational modification pathways, spliceosome biology, and mouse models of inflammation or metabolic disease.
