Mouse Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 A (Ube2a) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of mouse Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 A (UBE2A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric method. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and detects natural and recombinant mouse UBE2A.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 39.1 pg/mL and a detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at 6.4% CV and inter-assay precision at 8.3% CV. Dilutional linearity in serum spans 92–122% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, with EDTA plasma and heparin plasma also assessed across the same dilution series. Average recovery is 105% in serum (range 99–111%) and 107% in plasma (range 101–113%).

UBE2A (UniProt Q9Z255) is a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that accepts ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins. It plays a role in transcription regulation through monoubiquitination of histone H2B at 'Lys-120' and is required for postreplication repair of UV-damaged DNA. Dysregulation of UBE2A has been linked to a range of diseases, making it a valuable research biomarker.
