Mouse Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase isozyme L1 (Uchl1) ELISA Kit

UCHL1 is a thiol protease that processes ubiquitin precursors and ubiquitinated proteins by hydrolysing a peptide bond at the C-terminal glycine of ubiquitin. It plays a vital role in protein degradation and cellular homeostasis, and dysregulation of UCHL1 has been implicated in various neurodegenerative disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for neurosciences research. Validated for mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, the assay uses a colorimetric detection method and recognises both natural and recombinant mouse UCHL1.
