Mouse UACA ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA from Assay Genie designed to quantify the UACA protein (also known as Uaca, Kiaa1561, Uveal autoantigen with coiled-coil domains and ankyrin repeats, or Nuclear membrane-binding protein, Nucling) in mouse samples. The colorimetric assay is run on an antigen-coated microplate and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with absorbance read at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with components supplied for storage sealed at 2–8 °C and instructions not to cryopreserve. Validated linearity falls within 82–105% for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions, while recovery averages between 92–96% across the same matrices.

UACA is implicated in DNA repair, apoptosis, and chromatin remodeling, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, autoimmune, and neurodegenerative disease research, making this kit suitable for studying the protein's role in health and disease.
