Mouse Tyrosine 3-monooxygenase (Th) ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Tyrosine 3-monooxygenase (also known as Tyrosine 3-hydroxylase or TH). The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and is reactive with mouse samples. Specificity covers the natural and recombinant form of mouse Tyrosine 3-monooxygenase.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.9% and inter-assay CV is 9.3%. The product is for research use only and is targeted at neuroscience research.

Tyrosine 3-monooxygenase is the rate-limiting enzyme in catecholamine biosynthesis, involved in the conversion of phenylalanine to dopamine and playing a key role in the synthesis of dopamine, norepinephrine and epinephrine. It is therefore a useful biomarker for studying neurological and psychiatric processes in mouse models.
