Mouse TYRO protein tyrosine kinase-binding protein (Tyrobp) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA kit is intended for the quantification of mouse TYRO protein tyrosine kinase-binding protein (Tyrobp) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay recognises natural and recombinant mouse TYROBP, with a stated detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.163 ng/mL.

Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 4.1% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Linearity was characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (95–105%, 108–117%, 102–112%, 105–114%), EDTA plasma (106–116%, 113–122%, 87–97%, 97–106%) and heparin plasma (104–114%, 83–93%, 100–109%, 95–107%). Recovery averaged 88% (82–94%) for serum and 90% (84–96%) for plasma.

TYROBP (UniProt O54885) is a disulfide-linked homodimer located as a single-pass type I membrane protein; alternative names include DNAX-activation protein 12, KAR-associated protein, Dap12 and Karap. The protein non-covalently associates with activating receptors of the CD300 family, and cross-linking of CD300–TYROBP complexes results in cellular activation, including neutrophil activation mediated by integrin.
