Mouse Type II iodothyronine deiodinase (Dio2) ELISA Kit

An ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of mouse type II iodothyronine deiodinase (Dio2) in mouse samples, intended for research use only. The assay recognises natural and recombinant mouse Dio2 and supports studies of thyroid hormone biology, where the enzyme catalyses the deiodination of T4 (3,5,3',5'-tetraiodothyronine) into the active form T3 (3,5,3'-triiodothyronine).

Validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 19pg/mL. Dio2 is a single-pass membrane protein that interacts with USP20, USP33 and MARCH6, and has been linked to thyroid disorders, obesity and metabolic syndrome, supporting its use as a biomarker in mouse models of disease.
