Mouse TXB2 ELISA Kit

A competitive ELISA coated with antigen, supplied by Assay Genie, for the quantitative measurement of Thromboxane B2 (TXB2) in mouse samples. The kit is designed for accurate detection of Thromboxane B2 levels in mouse serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates, and is suited to research applications investigating platelet aggregation and vasoconstriction, since TXB2 is a metabolite of Thromboxane A2. Elevated Thromboxane B2 levels have been associated with cardiovascular diseases, inflammation, and thrombosis.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.938 pg/mL and a measuring range of 1.563-100 pg/mL. Storage is at 2-8°C (sealed); components must not be cryopreserved. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a microplate reader after TMB substrate development.

Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 92-105%, 94-104%, and 98-105% for serum; 87-96%, 85-97%, and 82-99% for EDTA plasma; and 85-100%, 84-96%, and 83-100% for heparin plasma. Recovery data show serum at 85-101% with a 94% average, EDTA plasma at 88-100% with a 94% average, and heparin plasma at 88-96% with a 91% average.
