TNFSF13, also known as APRIL (A Proliferation-Inducing Ligand) or CD256, is a secreted cytokine that binds to TNFRSF13B/TACI and TNFRSF17/BCMA, and plays a role in the regulation of tumor cell growth and monocyte/macrophage-mediated immunological processes. The protein is a homotrimer with UniProt accession Q9D777 and a molecular weight of 26,889 Da, and is the subject of research in cancer and related disease areas.

The kit is specific for natural and recombinant mouse TNFSF13, with a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.329ng/mL. Reported precision values are an Intra CV of 6.2% and an Inter CV of 8.2%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices, and recovery is 109% in serum and 111% in plasma.
