Mouse Troponin I, fast skeletal muscle (Tnni2) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse Troponin I, fast skeletal muscle (Tnni2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse Troponin I, fast skeletal muscle, with reactivity confirmed in mouse samples.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.436ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.4% and inter-assay CV is 8.9%. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 82%, range 80-88%) and plasma (average 84%, range 80-90%), with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

Troponin I is the inhibitory subunit of the troponin complex, conferring calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity. The corresponding protein (UniProt P13412) has a reported molecular weight of 28.2 kDa and binds to actin and tropomyosin. The kit is supplied for research use only in the area of signal transduction.
