Mouse Tropomyosin 2 Beta (TPM2) ELISA Kit

This ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of tropomyosin 2 beta (TPM2) in murine tissue homogenates. TPM2 is an actin-binding component of the sarcomere and a gene implicated in nemaline myopathy, cap myopathy, and several distal arthrogryposis subtypes, making this reagent a relevant tool for studies of muscle development, sarcomere assembly, and hereditary myopathy modeling.

The kit is supplied in a 96 assays configuration with pre-coated plate wells, calibrated detection antibodies, wash and substrate buffers, and a recombinant TPM2 standard curve for interpolating unknown samples. Colorimetric readout is performed on a standard microplate reader, and the assay is validated for mouse tissue homogenates, including extracts from skeletal muscle where TPM2 is highly expressed.

Reagents should be stored refrigerated; unopened kit components remain stable through the labeled expiry date. Reconstituted standards and working detection antibody are kept refrigerated for short-term use and may be frozen in single-use aliquots for longer storage, with limited freeze-thaw cycles recommended to preserve activity.
