Mouse Tripartite motif-containing protein 72 (Trim72) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Tripartite motif-containing protein 72 (TRIM72), also known as Mitsugumin-53 or Mg53. The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant mouse TRIM72.

The kit reports a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 39.9 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.8% and inter-assay CV is 9.5%. Recovery in serum averages 100% (range 94-106%), and in plasma averages 102% (range 96-108%). Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions falls within 104-114% to 103-113% for serum, 109-118% to 116-126% for EDTA plasma, and 96-106% to 114-123% for heparin plasma.

TRIM72 is a muscle-specific protein involved in cell membrane repair, acting as an oxidation sensor that drives disulfide-linked homooligomerization at injury sites and recruits repair vesicles. It specifically binds phosphatidylserine, forms homooligomers, and interacts with DYSF and CAV3. Subcellular localisation includes the cell membrane, sarcolemma and cytoplasmic vesicle membrane.
