Mouse TREM2 ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse TREM-2 (Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells 2) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. TREM2 plays a role in chronic inflammatory responses and phagocytosis within the central nervous system, and dysregulation of the protein has been linked to neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, making it a useful biomarker for studies of neuroinflammation and immune responses in mouse models.

The kit lists a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/ml and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, with intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%. Spike-and-recovery across serum (n=5) was 86–105% (average 96%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 91–102% (average 97%), and UFH plasma (n=5) 92–104% (average 96%). Linearity assessed by serial dilution of spiked samples at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 covered serum (86–105%, 91–103%, 86–104%), EDTA plasma (84–100%, 92–101%, 82–96%) and UFH plasma (80–100%, 81–99%, 87–98%). The microplate and most reagents are stored at 4°C for 6 months, and the kit is labelled for research use only.
