The Assay Genie Mouse TREM2 Activity ELISA Sampler Kit ships as a 3 x 48 well plate configuration, providing 144 total determinations across three sub-kits so researchers can run pilot studies, side-by-side comparisons, or repeat experiments from a single shipment. Plates are pre-coated with capture antibody directed against TREM2 (Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid cells 2), a single-pass transmembrane receptor expressed on microglia, osteoclasts, and certain dendritic cell populations. The assay supports cell culture supernatant work and neurodegenerative disease models where sTREM2 shedding is being evaluated as a microglial activation biomarker. Each well uses a 100 µL sample volume, and lyophilised standard vials are included for reconstitution with assay diluent. After reconstitution, reagents should be refrigerated between uses and kept on cold packs during transit.
