Mouse Trefoil factor 2 (Tff2) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of mouse Trefoil factor 2 (Tff2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and shows specificity for both natural and recombinant mouse Trefoil factor 2.

TFF2 is a secreted protein involved in mucosal protection and repair, with dysregulation linked to inflammatory bowel disease, gastric ulcers and gastric cancer. Functionally, the protein inhibits gastrointestinal motility and gastric acid secretion, and may serve as a structural component of gastric mucus by stabilising glycoproteins through interactions with carbohydrate side chains.

The kit has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39pg/mL. It is intended for research use only.
