Mouse Transportin 1/TNPO1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Transportin-1 (TNPO1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format delivers colorimetric detection, with a reported sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and an assay range of 1.563–100 ng/mL.

The assay uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, read at 450 nm. Validated linearity in serum (n=5) is 82–97% at 1:2, 86–97% at 1:4, and 85–101% at 1:8, with comparable performance in EDTA plasma (81–100%, 83–94%, 80–94%) and heparin plasma (85–104%, 90–100%, 89–103%). Spike-and-recovery averages are 90% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 98% in heparin plasma. Components are stable at 2–8°C for 12 months. Transportin-1 is described as a key protein involved in the nuclear import of cargo molecules, with dysregulation linked to cancer and viral infections, supporting its use as a biomarker in cell biology research.
