Mouse Translocator protein/Tspo ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Tspo concentrations, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. TSPO is a key protein involved in mitochondrial function and has been associated with inflammation, neurodegeneration, and cancer.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/ml and a working range of 0.781-50 ng/ml. Recovery rates are 86-105% (average 95%) in serum, 88-99% (average 95%) in EDTA plasma, and 87-104% (average 97%) in UFH plasma. Linearity upon serial dilution is 86-104% in serum, 87-101% in EDTA plasma, and 81-94% in UFH plasma. Intra-assay precision is CV <8% and inter-assay precision is CV <10%.

The target is mouse TSPO (UniProt P50637, NCBI Gene ID 12257), an 18,841 Da multi-pass mitochondrial outer membrane protein belonging to the TspO/BZRP family, implicated in cholesterol and porphyrin/heme transport and steroid biosynthesis.
