Mouse Transketolase (Tkt) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a sandwich ELISA designed to quantify mouse Transketolase (Tkt), an enzyme that catalyzes the transfer of a two-carbon ketol group from a ketose donor to an aldose acceptor, via a covalent intermediate with the cofactor thiamine pyrophosphate. Listed under the synonyms P68 and TK, the enzyme functions as a homodimer and contributes to the pentose phosphate pathway and carbohydrate metabolism.

The kit is validated for mouse samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant mouse Transketolase. Reported performance is a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 8.3% and an inter-assay CV of 9.9%. Recovery averages 111% for serum (range 105–117%) and 113% for plasma (range 107–119%). Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with values between 93% and 127%.
