The assay provides a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL.

Reported intra-assay precision is 5.7% CV and inter-assay precision is 9.4% CV. Spiked recovery averages 85% in serum (range 80-91%) and 87% in plasma (range 81-93%). The kit is reactive with mouse samples and specific for natural and recombinant mouse Transgelin-2, and is for research use only.
