Key performance figures include a detection range of 0.235-15ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.121ng/mL. Precision is characterised by an intra-assay CV of 8.3% and inter-assay CV of 9.6%. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution series (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery in serum averaged 94% (range 88-100%) and in plasma averaged 96% (range 90-102%).

The p65 (RelA) protein, also known as Nuclear factor NF-kappa-B p65 subunit (Uniprot Q04207), is a pleiotropic transcription factor involved in inflammation, immunity, differentiation, cell growth, tumorigenesis, and apoptosis.
