Mouse Transcription Factor A, Mitochondrial (TFAM) ELISA Kit

Mitochondrial transcription factor A (TFAM) is a high-mobility group-box protein that drives mitochondrial DNA packaging, copy-number maintenance, and transcript initiation in mammalian cells. This Assay Genie ELISA kit measures mouse TFAM across tissue homogenates and related sample matrices, using a colorimetric microplate readout. The 96-assay format supports quantitative TFAM evaluation in studies of mitochondrial biogenesis, oxidative phosphorylation capacity, mtDNA copy-number regulation, and metabolic stress responses. Mouse models of neurodegeneration, cardiomyopathy, type 2 diabetes, or age-related mitochondrial decline can be profiled by quantifying TFAM expression in tissues such as skeletal muscle, heart, brain, liver, and kidney.
