Mouse Transcription factor 21 (Tcf21) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Transcription factor 21 (TCF21) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. TCF21 is a nuclear transcription factor involved in epithelial-mesenchymal interactions in kidney and lung morphogenesis, with additional roles in the organogenesis of the spleen and heart, cardiac and coronary artery development, and sex differentiation of the gonad via transcriptional regulation of AD4BP/SF-1.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL, sensitivity of 0.434ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 6.2% and inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Linearity in serum spanned 86-121% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, with EDTA plasma at 87-119% and heparin plasma at 91-116%. Recovery averaged 83% for serum (range 80-89%) and 85% for plasma (range 80-91%). The assay specifically detects natural and recombinant mouse TCF21 (UniProt O35437), and the research area is Epigenetics.
