Tceb3, referred to as elongin-A, is a general transcription elongation factor (SIII) that increases the RNA polymerase II transcription elongation past template-encoded arresting sites. Subunit A is transcriptionally active and its transcription activity is strongly enhanced by binding to the dimeric complex of the SIII regulatory subunits B and C (elongin BC complex). Intended for use with mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, the kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Elongin-A. The target localises to the nucleus as a heterotrimer comprising an A subunit (ELOA, ELOA2 or ELOA3) together with ELOB and ELOC subunits.
