Mouse TRAIL (TNF-Related Apoptosis-Inducing Ligand, also designated TNFSF10 or APO2L) is a type II transmembrane cytokine of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily that selectively triggers extrinsic apoptosis in transformed and tumor cell lines through engagement of death receptors DR4 and DR5. This Assay Genie kit enables quantitative measurement of soluble TRAIL protein across multiple murine specimen types, supporting cancer immunology, tumor immune surveillance, autoimmune disease models, and cytokine regulation studies. The microplate-based immunoassay format is intended for research use only and in vitro applications, including apoptosis pathway studies, tumor microenvironment characterization, and investigations of immune cell–mediated cytotoxicity. Reagents should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles and kept refrigerated until use.
