Mouse Toll-like receptor 8 (Tlr8) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of mouse Toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse TLR8, offers a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.18 ng/mL, and is reactive with mouse samples.

TLR8 is a key component of innate and adaptive immunity that controls the host immune response against pathogens by recognising microorganism-specific molecular patterns, acting via MYD88 and TRAF6 to drive NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response. Also known by the synonym CD288 (UniProt P58682), TLR8 functions as a homodimer that interacts with MYD88, BTK, UNC93B1 and SMPDL3B, and is classified as a single-pass type I membrane protein.
